Inspired by Sandro Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus, these earrings pull from the beauty, femininity, and sense of new beginnings found in the painting.
 
Venus stands on a shell, a symbol of birth and femininity, while the sea and wind reflect creation, transformation, and being carried toward the unknown. I carried those details into the earrings through Venus herself, the shell beneath her, the floral accents as an ode to the flowers in the painting, and the delicate crystal details that add a soft, luminous finish.
